Sederra is an African American scientist born in Atlanta, GA pursuing her graduate degree in Boston, MA.
Her passion to end environmental injustices has led her to pursue a doctorate in green chemistry to investigate and design processes that eliminate hazardous pollutants that disproportionately infiltrate black and brown communities. She strives to fulfill God’s calling on her life by equipping forthcoming generations with the knowledge and tools necessary for a clean, sustainable environment and an equitable future.
